Hey guys!
My name is John, but my cosplay and online Alias is Dante Redgrave. I've been gone from things like this and facebook and myspace for a long time, but I'm back! Things have changed greatly over the past year for me, including the death of my mother (FEBRUARY 15 1950 - APRIL 22 2009, R.I.P. MOM) and change in my family dichotomy. I LOVE to play video games and cosplaying is my hobby. I'm not a huge anime weeaboo or a 4chan troll, I just love being able to dress in an outfit that I feel I'd look decent in and something I'd love to go to a convention in. Anime conventions are the bread and butter of my life, and I go to anywhere between five and eight a year. Most are on the East Coast, but I'm looking at extending out West this up coming year. I'm a pretty decent guy to get to know, and my favorite things in life are my friends. I love to talk and bring people into conversations, and I like to entertain myself and friends doing various random things. I'm also pretty 'normal', in terms of I love to go out to the bar with my friends, and I love to catch movies or hit up concerts. I go to Georgia Military College in hopes of getting a degree in Journalism to write game reviews for a magazing like OXM or Game Informer. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask anytime!

I found this poem online about 4 years ago, and after re-reading it earlier today, it made me smile a bit. It makes me think about my life and about my friends who also cosplay. It also makes me think that somewhere along the line that all nerds go through a point where they wonder if they should drop it all for a 'normal' life like their parents want them to. Hopefully this will help someone like it helped me a few years ago. All credit goes to whoever wrote this, not me. I'm just sharing the knowledge.

you are probably the most awesome Junpei cosplayer I have ever seen! I wish I could cosplay as Junpei, but I don't think I can pull it off =/ I'm better at cosplaying as characters that are considered "adorable"
